Top 10 Counties with Best and Worst Performing Truck Transportation Economies of 2014: Riverside County-CA / Riverside Creates the Most Truck Transportation Jobs; Blair County-PA / Altoona Loses the Most

Recently released data show that truck transportation job creation in 2014 across counties in the US varied from a high of 1,900 in Riverside County-CA (Riverside) to a loss of 700 jobs in Blair County-PA (Altoona).

Out of more than 2,300 counties with truck transportation economies, the Top 5 job creators also included Los Angeles County-CA (LA), Dallas County-TX (Dallas), Wayne County-MI (Detroit), and Parker County, TX (Dallas).

Truck transportation job losses were led by Blair County-PA (Altoona), Burlington County-NJ (Philadelphia), Tazewell County-IL (Peoria), Anchorage Borough-AK (Anchorage), and St. Louis city-MO (St. Louis).
