Recently released data show that Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing job creation in 2016 across counties in the US varied from a high of 3,900 in Los Angeles County, CA to a loss of 3,400 jobs in Travis County, TX.
Out of more than 450 counties with Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing economies, the Top 5 job creators also included Dallas County-TX (2,900), San Diego County-CA (1,600), San Francisco County-CA (1,600), and Santa Clara County, CA (800).
Computer and Electronic Product Manufacturing job losses were also led by McLennan County-TX (-2,100), Maricopa County-AZ (-1,800), Middlesex County-MA (-1,100) and Harris County-TX (-900).
Overall in the U.S., the Computer And Electronic Product Manufacturing Sector lost 7,200 jobs in 2016.
